Last night American Idol made headlines once more with a rather shocking elimination of 2 guys and 2 girls, early favorite Lilly Scott along with Todrick Hall, Katelyn Epperly and Alex Lambert all said their last goodbyes to stunned fellow contestants, audiences and judges looks. Its anyone's competition to win at this stage now, this blogger however has to root for the rather tasty Casey James!

Are American Idol girls in the lead?

With the new season of American Idol heating up after taking to the live shows many are discussing earlier seasons and speculating that a girl is due to win this season. With Simon Cowell even agreeing with this theory we should all keep track of the live shows to see which way it will plan out, early favorites include blond heart throb Casey James already a favorite with Kara DioGuardi and the dark horse Siobhan Magnus, stay tuned!!

With only 5 left, Gino, Stuart, Kim, Justin and Jimmy the votes could really go either way in this year's Im a celebrity get me out of here. Hollywood movie start George Hamilton walked out of the jungle in a surprise move the other night, he was already hot favorite to win and clearly beloved by the camp when a final farewell night had everyone in tears, even former snooker champ Jimmy White. Whatever happens its going to be an interesting final week.

So one was only expected to leave and now the jungle is down two members after Katie Price walked out claiming she has had enough! Was it to avoid the public vote or where the memories of her and Pete just to painful to carry on? Only she knows, but we can guess. Its been a dramatic start of the new series of Im a celebrity get me out of here already, we have already seen the arrival of Jordan and the exit of Camilla, however with Jordan been picked for all the bushtucker trials you can not help but wonder if kims recent outburst about her loving attention has to mean something, is she actually enjoying all the trials because you know she is going to be front page headlines, time will tell, lets hope another celeb gets a chance to do one tonight though.
